ROUNDUP: Levi, Stiles serve Sierra Vista past Pirates

Bridgette Levi put down 11 kills, and Shelby Stiles added 13 assists and five aces Friday to help Sierra Vista’s girls volleyball team to a 25-23, 28-26, 25-18 win over visiting Moapa Valley.

Mackenzie Bush had nine kills, and Shelbie Gray added six blocks for the Pirates.

Calvary Chapel 3, Laughlin 0 — At Calvary Chapel, Brooke Davis tallied 18 assists and two aces, and Deja Harris contributed 13 kills for the Lions in a 25-9, 25-13, 25-21 sweep of the Cougars.

McKenna Beckwith had seven digs and four kills for Calvary Chapel, and teammate Jamie Mejia added six kills and three aces. 

Lincoln County 2-1, Mountain View 0-2 — At Panaca, Elle Scott had nine kills, two digs and three aces to help the Lynx to a 25-20, 25-15 win over the Saints in the first match before the Saints won the nightcap, 11-25, 25-19, 15-13.

Scott had four kills, three digs and three aces in the second match, and teammate Bailey Free had 10 assists in each match.

Lincoln County’s Kayla Mathews had seven kills in the first match and five kills in the nightcap.

Lake Mead 2-2, Agassi Prep 0-0 — At Agassi Prep, Taylor Vetter had six kills, two assists and three digs in the opener and eight kills, five aces and five digs in the finale of the Eagles’ 25-12, 25-14 and 25-11, 25-5 sweep of the Stars.

In the first match, Megan Watkins had 11 assists and seven digs, and Jenette Hensley added 11 assists for Lake Mead. Shannon Regan supplied five kills for Lake Mead.

Watkins had 12 assists, three kills and two aces for the Eagles in the second match. Hensley served four aces.

The Meadows 2-2, Needles 0-0 — At Needles, Calif., Victoria Onufrieff had eight digs and two aces in the opener and nine digs and five aces in the nightcap of The Meadows' 25-22, 25-13 and 25-17, 25-7 sweep of Needles.

Alex Hall had four kills, 13 digs, three aces, and Amber Peterson added six kills in the opening match for The Meadows.

In the finale, Peterson had five kills, and Nikki Lenardson spiked seven kills for The Meadows, which got eight assists and four aces from Divya Ramakrishnan.

Prescott (Ariz.) 2, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Phoenix, Prescott was a 25-23, 25-8 winner over the Crusaders in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Courtney Hansen had eight kills, and Taylor Richards added five kills for the Crusaders, who got 16 assists from Gianni Perryman.

Northwest Christian (Ariz.) 2, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Phoenix, Northwest Christian nipped the Crusaders, 26-24, 25-23 in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Hansen had seven kills, and Richards supplied six kills and two aces for Faith Lutheran. Sam Leonard and Taylor Hammer each spiked five kills, and Perryman distributed 23 assists for the Crusaders.

Sunnyslope (Ariz.) 2, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Phoenix, Sunnyslope held off the Crusaders, 25-17, 22-25, 15-8 in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Hansen had nine kills and eight digs, and Hammer added eight digs for Faith Lutheran. Megan Panikkar dished out 15 assists, and Perryman had 12 assists for the Crusaders.

Bishop Gorman 2, Hamilton (Ariz.) 1 — At Phoenix, the Gaels outlasted Hamilton, 26-24, 12-25, 18-16 in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Bishop Gorman 2, Roseburg (Ore.) 1 — At Phoenix, the Gaels were 25-16, 27-25, 16-14 winners over Roseburg in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Gilbert (Ariz.) 2, Bishop Gorman 0 — At Phoenix, Gilbert posted a 25-9, 25-16 win over the Gaels in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Round Mountain 3, Sandy Valley 1 — At Round Mountain, the Knights beat the Sidewinders, 25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 27-25.
