ROUNDUP: Nascimento leads Liberty past Del Sol

Luiza Nascimento had nine kills and four aces Monday to help Liberty’s girls volleyball team to an 18-25, 25-22, 19-25, 25-21, 15-12 victory at Del Sol.

Reid Morgavi had 21 digs and three aces for Liberty, and Jazmin O’Bannon supplied six kills and seven blocks.

Kaleileihua Cabanas had 10 kills, eight aces and 11 digs for Del Sol.

Camille Santana had 16 digs, three assists and three aces for the Dragons, and teammate Eugenia Petkova supplied seven kills, seven digs and three blocks.

Desert Oasis 3, Legacy 2 — At Desert Oasis, Tianna Jefferson had three kills, 22 assists, 10 digs and three blocks to lead the Diamondbacks to a 23-25, 25-12, 22-25, 25-13, 15-10 win over the Longhorns.

Brooke Mazak had nine kills, four digs and two blocks for Desert Oasis, and teammate Summer Bobenhausen-Kibler supplied 13 digs and two aces.

Saipeti Fuiava paced Legacy with 10 kills, 15 digs and two blocks.

Ashley Smoot had six kills and two blocks for the Longhorns, and teammate Emily Valerio had 30 assists and seven digs.

Sunrise Mountain 3, Cheyenne 1 —
At Sunrise Mountain, Imani Kroon had five kills, two blocks, 15 assists and five aces to lead the Miners to a 25-10, 25-16, 23-25, 25-18 win over the Desert Shields.

Alex Martinez had four kills and four blocks for Sunrise Mountain, and teammate Deanna Manning added four kills.

Foothill 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Zoe Wolfenbarger had 12 kills, 15 assists and six blocks as the Falcons topped the Wolves, 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

Nicolette White added eight kills and five blocks, and Samantha Douglas had eight kills, 14 assists and four aces for Foothill.

Leah Causey led Basic with four kills, six blocks and 11 digs. Victoria Foutz added five kills and 10 digs, and teammate Lynsie Udall had 15 digs for the Wolves.

Coronado 3, Eldorado 0 —
At Eldorado, Cali Thompson had nine aces and 34 assists as the Cougars defeated the Sundevils, 25-8, 25-13, 25-18.

Taylor Jackson had eight kills for Coronado, and teammate Berkeley Oblad added seven.

Bishop Gorman 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Anna Dondero had seven kills and four blocks as the Gaels rolled to a 25-10, 25-19, 25-20 sweep of the Spartans.

Emma Kirst and Francesca Manz each added seven kills for Gorman, and Leah Lychock had six kills for the Gaels, who got 19 assists from Emma Filosi.

Chalon Henderson led Cimarron with eight kills and three digs. Erica Padilla added 15 assists and six digs for the Spartans.

Centennial 3, Bonanza 0 — At Centennial, Tiana Bonds had nine kills to help the Bulldogs to a 25-18, 25-18, 25-23 win over the Bengals.

Cristina Owens had six digs and three aces, and Raquari Gilliam added four kills for Centennial.

Sydney McFadden had 12 assists to lead Bonanza, which got 12 digs from Ellyn Hirabayashi.

Palo Verde 3, Durango 0 — At Palo Verde, McCall Phillips had nine kills, four aces and four digs as the Panthers swept the Trailblazers, 25-19, 25-18, 25-4.

Lexi Riggs also had nine kills for Palo Verde, which got 28 assists from Stephanie Herman and 12 digs from Faryn Duncan.

Chaparral 3, Tech 0 — At Tech, Jaeda Allen had 18 kills as the Cowboys defeated the Roadrunners, 25-9, 25-16, 25-17.

Katie Oliveira added 31 assists for Chaparral, which got four kills and nine assists from Hannah Kirschbaum.

McKayla Kimball and Hanna Poscente each had three kills to lead Tech.

Virgin Valley 3, Desert Pines 0 —
At Mesquite, Alora Bonner had nine kills and four aces as the Bulldogs rolled to a 25-14, 25-13, 25-11 sweep of the Jaguars.

Nicole Arquette had 18 assists and three kills for Virgin Valley, which got five aces and three kills from

Kirston Tanner and four aces and five digs from Jasmine Pulver.

Melissa Benford led Desert Pines with five kills, eight digs and four aces.

Boulder City 3, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, the Eagles defeated the Pirates, 25-17, 25-15, 25-23.

Bailey Owens led Moapa Valley with eight kills, and Makenzie Bush had seven kills for the Pirates.

Liberty Baptist 3, Adelson School 2 — At Adelson, the Eagles defeated the Lions, 25-27, 25-21, 25-9, 24-26, 15-8.
