ROUNDUP: Pahrump Valley fends off Bonanza in girls volleyball

Kristi Daffer had 13 kills on Monday night to help Pahrump Valley’s girls volleyball team to a 21-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-12 win over visiting Bonanza.

Ashley Lindgren added 11 assists for the Trojans.

Shirley Pitts led the Bengals with 15 kills. Tristian Hall added seven kills for Bonanza.

Western 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Western, Megan Riggs had 31 assists and 10 aces to lead the Warriors over the Diamonbacks, 25-21, 25-13, 25-19.

Michelle Simon had 21 kills for Western.

Spring Valley 3, Clark 0 — At Spring Valley, Dominique Acevedo had six kills, three aces and five digs to help the Grizzlies defeat the Chargers, 25-11, 25-18, 25-17.

Spring Valley’s Laura Perri added four kills, nine aces and 15 assists, and Anna Childs had four kills for the Grizzlies.

Anna Jaehn led Clark with six kills.

Durango 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Hayley Spelman had 19 kills and 13 aces as the Trailblazers rolled to a 25-18, 25-7, 25-15 win over the Mountain Lions.

Morgan Malone had 19 assists for Durango.

Brooke Robinson had five kills and Kelsey Stegall had four for Sierra Vista.

Liberty 3, Tech 0 — At Liberty, Ali Sarajosa had 10 aces and six kills to lead the Patriots to a 25-19, 25-13, 25-12 win over the Roadrunners.

Holly Vergara added 12 assists for Liberty.

Jezebet Xaypanya had two aces for Tech.

Del Sol 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Bryana Chavez had 11 kills, five aces and two blocks to help the Dragons defeat the Falcons, 25-15, 25-19, 25-15.

Kadie Miller added 11 kills and four digs, and Kristen Hanks had 10 digs for the Dragons.

Jessica Stevenson had four kills, six blocks and 16 digs for Foothill.

Coronado 3, Basic 0 — At Coronado, Katie Gamsky had five kills, three aces and 29 assists as the Cougars downed the Wolves, 25-12, 25-9, 25-20.

Alexa Herlosky and Kuulei Piena each added 10 kills for Coronado.

Dominique Napoleon had two kills and three blocks for Basic.

Palo Verde 3, Legacy 0 — At Palo Verde, Nicole Gneiting had 15 kills and 11 digs to lead the Panthers to a 25-21, 25-19, 25-15 win over the Longhorns.

Natalie Brown-Denby added five kills and four blocks, and Tori Lounsbery had 20 assists, four digs and four kills for Palo Verde.

Kaylan Hanson led Legacy with seven kills. Kathleen Noorda added 16 assists, and Kelsey Knight had 12 digs for the Longhorns.

Cheyenne 3, Mojave 0 — At Cheyenne,  Andrea Schmitz had 12 aces, two kills and four assists to help the Desert Shields beat the Rattlers, 25-7, 25-18, 25-10.

Alexandria Lintner served 11 aces for Cheyenne.

Shadow Ridge 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Kelsey Tesoro had eight kills, 10 digs and two aces to help the Mustangs top the Spartans, 25-12, 25-16, 25-19.

Brittany Meyer had 24 assists and three aces, and Kylee Schraft added seven kills and two aces for Shadow Ridge.

Cimarron’s Jessica White had 16 assists, 11 digs and three blocks. Charmaine Watkinson added five kills and 11 digs for the Spartans.

Centennial 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Johnna Brown had 11 kills and six digs to lead the Bulldogs to a 25-4, 25-13, 25-14 win over the Aggies.

Morgan Vieira added 11 digs and nine assists for Centennial.

Maddie McCoy had five kills for Arbor View, and Stayzia Garness added seven digs for the Aggies.
