Roundup: Rancho rolls past Spring Valley

Jan Duhaylungsod had 16 assists, six aces and six digs to lead the Rancho girls volleyball team to a 25-9, 25-6, 25-7 home sweep over Spring Valley on Monday.

Angelyne Berkedal had 11 kills for the Rams, and teammate Kennedee Jones had seven kills.

Mia Suzuki had eight digs and five aces for Rancho.

Canyon Springs 3, Valley 0 — At Canyon Springs, Tyra Caliva had 17 assists as the Pioneers defeated the Vikings, 25-19, 25-8, 25-15.

Dominique McIntyre had seven aces and three kills for the Pioneers, and teammate Jeanette Fine also had four kills and three aces.

Valley’s Isabel Lopez-Figueroa had six digs, two kills, and two aces. Krystal Carter had three kills and two aces, and Andrea Munguia had three assists for the Vikings.

Clark 3, Word of Life 0 — At Clark, Coraly Dupree had six kills, two aces, and three blocks as the Chargers defeated the Eagles, 25-18, 25-22, 25-18.

Tsion Gashaw had two kills and five aces,, Briannah Paras had 10 assists and six aces, and Amadi Wood had two kills and five aces for the Chargers.

Word of Life’s Aniyah Brown had two blocks.

SLAM Academy 3, Liberty Baptist 1 — At SLAM Academy, Kirsten Scott served six aces and had two kills to help the Bulls to a 21-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-21 win over the Knights.

Natalya Barney served five aces, and Amanda Lara had four kills for SLAM.
