Roundup: Silverado rebounds from first-set loss to defeat Foothill

Sydney Berenyi had 28 kills and 15 digs to help Silverado’s girls volleyball team rally for a 19-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-15 win at Foothill on Wednesday night.

Brielen Aquino added 36 assists and three aces, and Kui’Puha Untalan had four aces and 15 digs for the Skyhawks.

Whitley Brow led Foothill with 16 kills, four aces and 10 digs. Riana Blount had five kills, two aces and four digs, and Sierra Johnson had 13 digs for the Falcons.

Desert Pines 3, Western 1 — At Western, Michelle Rhodes had 13 digs, and Brianna Fitzgerald had five kills as the Jaguars beat the Warriors, 25-23, 13-25, 28-26, 25-9.

Alejandra Olan and Nylah Scott each had three aces for Desert Pines.

Camille Riggs had 14 kills to lead Western. Destiny Dobiesz added 23 assists, and Andriana Jones had seven aces for the Warriors.

Pahrump Valley 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Kylie Stritenberger had 13 kills and seven blocks, and Jacquellen Stobbe dished out 22 assists in the Trojans’ 25-16, 21-25, 25-16, 26-24 win over the Desert Shields.

Elaina Dattillio had five kills, and Nicky Velazquez had five blocks for Pahrump Valley.

Eryuan McJoy led Cheyenne with eight kills and five aces. Miya Burns had six aces, and Shaniya Mouton had five kills for the Desert Shields.

Coronado 3, Green Valley 0 — At Coronado, Sasha Bolla had six kills and six blocks, and Madison Karcich added six kills, three aces and eight digs to lead the Cougars to a 27-25, 25-13, 25-16 victory over the Gators.

Ashlynn Ammerman had eight kills and two digs, and Megan Wang had 11 digs for Coronado.

Abby Olsen led Green Valley with 21 assists and eight digs. Lana Benson had eight kills, and Kristine Davis notched 13 digs for the Gators.

Mojave 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Mojave, Chania Scott had seven kills and four blocks in the Rattlers’ 25-12, 25-20, 25-10 win over the Miners.

Alexis Otto dished out 31 assists, and Irish Jamelo had six digs for Mojave.

Adareasheia Pinsly had five aces to lead Sunrise Mountain. Julia Miles had three kills, and Destiny Chavez had 12 assists for the Miners.

Liberty 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Tehani Tapuala had 17 assists and six digs to power the Patriots to a 25-11, 25-18, 25-14 sweep of the Chargers.

Sydnie Tuioti-Mariner had six assists and six aces, and teammate O’ceana Clemens added eight kills for Liberty.

Coraly Dupree led Clark with eight digs. Natalyn Ngo tallied four digs and four assists, and Autumn Flowers notched five digs for the Chargers.

Basic 3, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Serenity Lomprey had 11 kills, seven digs and three aces, and Kiara Richardson tallied 12 kills as the Wolves swept the Sundevils, 25-12, 25-5, 25-9.

Keonna Richardson added six kills for Basic.

Paige Darrington had five assists and two kills, and Ashley Alonso supplied three kills and two digs for Eldorado, which also got two kills from Kristina Valerio.

Las Vegas 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Brooklyn Stone had 17 assists and 14 aces in the Wildcats’ 25-11, 25-21, 25-17 sweep of the Vikings.

Skyla Faught had six kills, and Kaitlyn Horstdaniel added five kills for Las Vegas.

Kiarra Brown had nine digs to pace Valley.

Rancho 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Rancho, Dayana Raygoza dished out 14 assists, and Serica Valentine notched eight kills as the Rams easily swept the Pioneers, 25-11, 25-3, 25-11.

Kekai States had 10 assists, and Taylor Ewing had seven kills for Rancho.

Somerset-Losee 3, Sandy Valley 2 — At Somerset-Losee, Myri Au Young-Uwaine had four kills, six aces and 12 digs, and Sabrina Wright added five kills, 13 assists, four aces and 31 digs in the Lions’ 25-16, 15-25, 25-19, 22-25, 20-18 win over Sidewinders.

Victoria Thompson had five kills and two blocks, and Bonnie Thiriot notched one kill, 12 assists and six aces for Somerset-Losee.
