ROUNDUP: Spartans hold off Aggies

Merrick Frost dished out 25 assists and Leloni Blanco had 11 kills and eight aces Tuesday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s girls volleyball team to a 25-23, 25-15, 21-25, 20-25, 15-6 win at Arbor View.

Mariah Kelley had five kills and Denise Velez had seven kills for the Spartans.

Paige Rajczi had 24 digs and Michaela McErlean had 16 digs and 11 kills for the Aggies. 

Centennial 3, Faith Lutheran 2 — At Faith Lutheran, Morgan Vieira had 33 assists, nine kills, eight digs and three assists to lead the Bulldogs over the Crusaders, 25-13, 22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-10.

Aubree Hill had 17 digs, nine kills and two aces for Gorman.  Tiffany Chapman added 20 digs, and Alison Tatom had 12 kills and seven blocks.

Kelsey McCourt had 34 assists and 11 digs to lead Faith Lutheran. 

Meagan Hauser added 12 kills, 14 digs and six aces, Hayley Washinsky had 10 kills and 12 digs, and Nicole West logged five blocks for the Crusaders.

Legacy 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Kathleen Noorda dished out 10 assists and Kayla Murray had six kills to lead the Longhorns over the Rattlers, 25-20, 25-19, 25-13.

Bobbie Harris had 13 digs for Mojave.

Shadow Ridge 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Rachel Childers recorded 30 assists and five digs to lead the Mustangs over the Desert Shields, 25-14, 25-10, 25-23.

Kylee Schraft had 22 kills, 10 digs, and three aces and Bailee Bradley added 10 digs for Shadow Ridge.

Cheyenne was led by Andrea Schmitz with seven assists and two aces and Shaunice Cameron with four kills, three assists, and two aces.

Bishop Gorman 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Bishop Gorman, Brooke McKenna had 14 digs and six aces and Kylee Chun had 17 assists to lead the Gaels over the Grizzlies, 25-8, 25-4, 25-5.

Kylie Shaw had five kills and three aces for Gorman, Liz Manthei had seven kills, and Michelle Lisowski added five aces.

Sierra Vista 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Sierra Vista, Kayla Forte had 29 assists and four aces and Brooke Robinson added 13 kills as the Lions beat the Diamondbacks, 25-7, 25-22, 25-14.

Kelsey Motis led Desert Oasis with seven blocks.

Bonanza 3, Western 1 — At Bonanza, Sarah Jane Goodsell compiled 25 assists, five aces and two blocks and Bree Hammel added nine kills and five digs as the Bengals beat the Warriors, 20-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-7.

Callyn Snow supplied 10 kills and four aces for Bonanza.

Daresheoun Lee had 11 kills for Western.

Pahrump Valley 3, Durango 0 — At Pahrump, Taylor Ball had six kills and Alison Kunzi and Kayla Foster each had five kills to lead the Trojans over the Trailblazers, 25-19, 25-21, 25-11.

Ashley Lindgren dished out 12 assists for Pahrump.

Boulder City 3, The Meadows 0 — At Boulder City, Paxton Fleming recorded 36 assists, Kelsey Riplinger had 26 digs and Lexi Jorgensen tallied 12 kills as the Eagles beat the Mustangs, 25-20, 25-22, 25-19.

Emily Boyster added 11 blocks for Boulder City.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Virgin Valley 2 — At Mesquite, the Panthers rallied for a 22-25, 26-28, 25-18, 25-23, 15-4 win over the Bulldogs.

Virgin Valley’s Rachel Morris had 17 kills and Annie Biasi 11. Nikki Hafen contributed 32 assists.

Moapa Valley 3, Mountain View 0 — At Overton, Ashley Noto had nine kills as the Pirates beat the Saints, 25-9, 25-18, 25-14.

Zari Riley had five kills and 10 blocks for Mountain View.

Henderson International 3, Agassi Prep 0 — At Henderson International, Lee Harrison had nine kills and four blocks and the Wolverines topped the Stars, 25-17, 25-14, 25-13.

Hailey Schulz had six kills and five aces and Alyssa Ayers added 12 digs and four aces for Henderson International. 

Indian Springs 2, Adelson School 0 — At Indian Springs, the Thunderbirds beat the Lions, 25-16, 25-10.

Enterprise (Utah) 3, Lincoln County 0 — At Panaca, the Wolves downed the Lynx, 25-15, 25-22, 25-18.  

Beatty 3, Trinity 0 — At Trinity, the Hornets handed the Thunder a 25-7, 25-11, 25-21 sweep.

Trinity’s Sarah Njoroge had five kills and four assists and Andrea Martinez added five kills and two digs.
