Roundup: Sunrise Mountain takes down Desert Pines in four sets

Sunrise Mountain’s Alyssa Guevara-Canales had seven aces and 15 digs to lead the Miners’ girls volleyball team to a 21-25, 26-24, 27-25, 25-19 victory over visiting Desert Pines on Tuesday.

Destiny Chavez had six aces and seven digs for Sunrise Mountain, and Julia Miles had four aces and six kills.

Foothill 3, Rancho 0 — At Foothill, Whitley Brow had seven digs, five kills and two aces, and Savannah Lopez added six kills and four blocks to help the Falcons sweep the Rams, 25-18, 25-14, 25-15.

Shaye Lemke supplied nine kills and two digs for Foothill.

Dayana Raygoza had eight assists and eight digs, and Mia Suzuki notched 17 digs for Rancho.

Silverado 3, Las Vegas 0 — At Las Vegas High, Sydney Berenyi put down 12 kills in the Skyhawks’ 25-11, 25-20, 26-24 sweep of the Wildcats.

Kui’Puha Untalan notched 12 digs, and Catherine Coty added 10 kills for Silverado.

Brooklyn Stone had 17 assists and eight digs, Skyla Faught supplied 15 digs and eight kills, and Victoria Barney contributed nine digs and seven kills to pace Las Vegas.

Pahrump Valley 3, Mojave 0 — At Pahrump, Kylie Stritenberger had six kills and five blocks, and Jacqueline Stobbe tallied 11 assists as the Trojans swept the Rattlers, 27-25, 25-13, 25-16.

Virginia Weir served four aces for Pahrump.

Alexis Otto notched 26 assists, and teammate Vany Carballo supplied nine digs for Mojave.

Cheyenne 3, Western 0 — At Cheyenne, Aseret Geraldo had 26 assists, and Leerah Hunt added five kills and four aces as the Desert Shields topped the Warriors, 25-16, 25-12, 25-18.

Miya Burns served six aces, and Eryuan McJoy supplied six kills for Cheyenne.

Myah Moore notched seven assists, and Camille Riggs had three kills for Western.

Green Valley 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Abby Olsen dished out 27 assists in the Gators’ 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 sweep of the Grizzlies.

Lana Benson had 11 kills, Jennifer Soha added eight kills, and Kristine Davis supplied eight digs for Green Valley.

Julie Quidilla had 12 digs and six kills, and teammate Emma Lily Marple notched nine assists to pace Spring Valley.

Basic 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Serenity Lomprey had eight kills, and Crystal Jaramillo notched seven digs as the Wolves swept the Vikings, 25-17, 25-8, 25-11.

Macey Dennet added five kills for Basic.

Kiarra Brown had nine digs and four kills, and Debra Schuster supplied 13 digs and two aces for Valley.

Coronado 3, Eldorado 0 — At Coronado, Dallas Balanay-Flores had 10 assists, 10 aces and two digs as the Cougars rolled to a 25-0, 25-5, 25-13 win over the Sundevils.

Sasha Bolla added eight kills, and Shannon Evans and McCallister Gayle each had four kills for Coronado.

Liberty 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Liberty, Sydnie Tuioti-Mariner had 28 assists and seven aces to lead the Patriots to a 25-7, 25-12, 25-9 sweep of the Pioneers.

O’ceana Clemens added seven kills and five digs for Liberty.

Virgin Valley 3, Chaparral 0 — At Mesquite, Calee Clem had 22 assists in the Budogs’ 25-11, 25-9, 25-10 win over the Cowboys.

Jessica Barnum added six kills and five aces for Virgin Valley.

Liberty Baptist 3, Indian Springs 2 — At Indian Springs, Kelsey Guardiola had eight kills, 12 digs and three aces to lead the Knights to a 16-25, 22-25, 25-19, 26-24, 15-10 victory over the Thunderbirds.

Jade Halverson added five kills, 19 assists, four aces, and 17 digs, and Jessica Portillo had 15 assists, five aces and 12 digs for Liberty Baptist.

Calvary Chapel 3, Democracy Prep 0 — At Calvary Chapel, the Lions swept the Blue Knights, 25-12, 25-10, 25-10.

Word of Life 3, Beaver Dam 1 — At Littlefield, Arizona, the Eagles defeated the Diamondbacks, 25-19, 25-15, 21-25, 25-18.
