ROUNDUP: Wolfenbarger, Douglas rally Foothill past Eagles
Zoe Wolfenbarger racked up 18 kills, 26 assists and 16 digs, and Samantha Douglas added 21 kills, 22 assists and 12 digs on Friday to help Foothill’s girls volleyball team rally for a 20-25, 25-19, 23-25, 25-14, 15-11 win at Boulder City.
Nicolette White supplied 10 kills and four blocks, and Samantha Colella had 26 digs for Foothill, which got 14 digs from Emma Khachikian.
Avalon Frantz paced Boulder City with 42 assists, six aces and two kills. Whitney Barlow added 23 kills, three blocks and two aces, and Kendall Miller had 27 digs for the Eagles. Mallory Bird chipped in 10 kills and three blocks for Boulder City.
Shadow Ridge 3, Basic 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Ashley Smith provided 18 kills and two blocks, and Olivia Denny distributed 30 assists to lead the Mustangs to a 25-16, 19-25, 25-10, 25-10 win over the Wolves.
Niehely Sosa added seven kills and four blocks for Shadow Ridge.
Leah Causey had six kills, five blocks and 16 digs, and Tori Foutz supplied six kills and five digs for Basic.
Tonopah 3, Indian Springs 0 — At Tonopah, Deanna VanPoucke tallied 13 kills, nine digs, and six assists, and Alli Friel had 14 assists, 10 digs and five kills to lift the Muckers to a sweep over Indian Springs, 26-24, 25-19, 25-14.
Sydney Maughan added eight digs and five kills, and Sarah Greber registered 10 digs, six blocks and four kills for Tonopah.
Beatty 3, Sandy Valley 0 — At Sandy Valley, the Hornets were 25-21, 25-23, 25-10 winners over the Sidewinders.
Pahranagat Valley 3, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, the Panthers rolled to a 25-10, 25-9, 25-17 sweep of the Lions.
