VOLLEYBALL: Falcons sweep Rancho

Kiley McCall had 24 assists and three aces, and Alyssa McCoy added 11 kills and three blocks on Friday to help Foothill's girls volleyball team to a 25-15, 25-9, 28-26 sweep of visiting Rancho.

Courtney Nilson had eight kills, and Illiana Ortega added 15 digs for the Falcons.

Karime Raygoza paced the Rams with 12 kills and 15 digs. Serenity Sivongsa added 12 assists and six digs, and Kayla Coles had four kills, 10 digs and two aces for Rancho.

Legacy 3, Bonanza 0 — At Legacy, Saipeti Fuiava had 15 kills, two aces and nine digs, and Kiana Carter added 11 kills as the Longhorns downed the Bengals, 25-19, 25-15, 25-23.

Danielle Castillo put down 10 kills, and Kamaile Mendosa added 46 assists and two aces for Legacy, which also got four aces and 16 digs from Mia Suzuki.

Hayley Huntsman had six kills and 15 assists, and Jaycie Johnson notched eight kills and two blocks for Bonanza.

Tech 3, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Katherine Hernandez had five kills, six aces and four digs, and Victoria Keane added four kills and three aces to power the Roadrunners to a 25-10, 25-11, 25-19 win over the Cowboys.

Mariah Moses had five kills, and Samantha Backman recorded nine assists and two aces for Tech.

Calvary Chapel 3, Laughlin 0 — At Calvary Chapel, Olivia Kaiser put down 15 kills, and Malia Lee added five kills and four aces to lead the Lions to a 25-8, 25-11, 25-10 win over the Cougars.

Mariah Martin had five kills and 28 assists, and Emily Millchi notched six kills for Calvary Chapel, which also got four kills and three aces from Lexi Davis.

Lincoln County 2-2, Lake Mead 0-1 — At Lake Mead, Bridon Lewis had 15 kills and four blocks to help the Lynx sweep a double-header from the Eagles, 25-13, 27-25 and 25-19, 18-25, 15-13.

Lewis had eight kills in the opener, and seven kills and three blocks in the second game. Josie Burgess had six kills and three digs in the opener for the Lynx, who also got two aces, 19 assists and 20 digs from Chesnee Harding in the second game.

Alle Butz recorded 11 kills to lead Lake Mead. Jenette Hensley added four aces and 26 digs, and Rachael Watkins dished out 25 assists for the Eagles.

The Meadows 2-2, Needles 0-0 — At The Meadows, Emily Ebel had eight assists and three digs in the opener and 10 assists in the nightcap as The Meadows swept Needles, 25-17, 25-18 and 25-13, 25-10.

Eden Miller had eight assists and three digs in the first match and eight assists in the second match, and Dani Mason had nine kills in the nightcap for The Meadows, which also got five aces and two kills in the second match from Katie Otter.

Pahranagat Valley 3, Word of Life 0 — At Alamo, Karley Whipple had 11 kills and three digs, and Alyson Egbert added seven kills and two blocks to lead the Panthers to a 25-10, 25-9, 25-5 sweep of the Eagles.

Allyse Frehner dished out 18 assists, and Brook Higbee had seven assists and eight digs for Pahranagat.

Boulder City 3, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, the Eagles downed the Dragons, 25-15, 25-11, 25-3.

Sandy Valley 3, Indian Springs 0 — At Indian Springs, the Sidewinders topped the Thunderbirds, 25-19, 25-19, 25-8.
