VOLLEYBALL: Goor, Longhorns come from behind to top Spartans

Ashly Goor had 17 kills and nine aces Monday to help Legacy’s girls volleyball team battle back for a 19-25, 25-16, 25-23, 23-25, 15-7 home victory over Cimarron-Memorial.
Emily Valerio added nine aces, three kills and three digs, and Jorden Yamaguchi had nine digs for the Longhorns.
Emily Bennett had 10 kills, five digs and three aces, and Zaquae Downton added five kills, eight digs and four aces for the Spartans. Priscilla Bennett supplied 22 assists, and three aces, and teammate Ciara Karpinski had three kills, four blocks and three aces for Cimarron.
Pahrump Valley 3, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Payton Hart had seven kills, and Shayla Dance had six kills and six blocks to lead the Trojans to a 25-19, 23-25, 25-19, 12-25, 20-18 victory over the Desert Shields.
Bryana Soliwoda had 11 assists, and teammate Jillian Smith added 10 assists for Pahrump.
Bria Buchanan led Cheyenne with 21 kills. Endia Mack added seven kills, five aces and 11 digs, and Erin McNally had 11 digs for the Desert Shields.
Bishop Gorman 3, Bonanza 1 — At Gorman, Emma Filosi had 43 assists and two aces, and Gianna Ruggeroli had 14 kills as the Gaels rallied for a 24-26, 25-12, 25-18, 25-15 win over the Bengals.
Francesca Manz added 13 kills, and Emma Kirst supplied 10 kills for Gorman. Leah Lychock contributed six aces and two kills, and Bailey Zavala had 13 digs and three aces for the Gaels, who got 14 digs from Shelly Laman.
Sophie Cram had 18 kills, and Claire Goodsell chipped in seven kills and 21 digs for Bonanza, which got 32 assists from Hailey Huntsman.
Las Vegas 3, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, Matti Ventling had 24 assists and four kills, and Shaleea Butler added seven kills and nine digs to lift the Wildcats to a 25-22, 27-25, 25-20 win over the Skyhawks.
L’tiah Davis added six kills and four blocks, and Charlai Francis had seven kills and five blocks for Las Vegas, which got 12 digs from Cierra Turner.
Melanie Srok had 14 kills, and Amari Norris added eight kills and nine blocks for Silverado. Morgan Little dished out 16 assists, and Quinntana Reid had 12 digs for the Skyhawks.
Faith Lutheran 3, Clark 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Morgan Hill had 10 kills, and Cayla Nikodemus added eight kills, four digs and three aces to lead the Crusaders to a 25-19, 25-9, 25-13 sweep of the Chargers.
Megan Panikkar had 16 assists and two aces, and Courtney Hansen supplied six kills and two aces for Faith Lutheran, which got four aces from Bobbi Tharaldson.
Rancho 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Danielle Carino had nine kills, two aces and two digs to lead the Rams in a 25-15, 25-19, 25-20 sweep of the Pioneers.
Monet Wilson added 12 assists and two aces, and Sharisse Nagatori had eight assists, four digs and two aces for Rancho.
Sydney Morris spiked four kills, and Karina Cavada served four aces for Canyon Springs, which got three blocks from Maureen Talice.
Centennial 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Kristi Farley had 27 assists and 11 aces, and Cristina Owens had nine kills to help the Bulldogs to a 25-7, 25-11, 25-13 win over the Diamondbacks.
Madison Harper added 13 digs and five aces, and Tiana Bonds had five kills for Centennial.
Lauren Rios had five digs, and Alex Blockovich supplied four digs for Desert Oasis, which got two aces from Ariel Blockovich and two kills from Taylor Brock.
Green Valley 3, Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Shanna Olsen had 15 kills, two blocks, five digs and two aces, and Nikki Drost added 11 kills, nine digs and six aces as the Gators swept the Vikings, 25-16, 25-10, 25-18.
Bridgette Dwyer added 10 kills, three digs and two aces, and Alley Seidler notched 35 assists and three digs for Green Valley.
Gabby Cabanero led the Vikings with seven digs, five kills and two blocks.
Western 3, Mojave 0 — At Western, Paea Sovou recorded eight assists, five kills, two blocks and four aces to lead the Warriors in a 25-15, 25-17, 25-16 sweep of the Rattlers.
Yatzi Carranza had seven kills and three aces, and Destiny Gonzalez added eight kills and three blocks for Western.
