VOLLEYBALL: Lions roll past Lake Mead

Deja Harris had 15 kills, and Brooke Davis supplied 32 assists, four kills and five digs on Friday to help Calvary Chapel’s girls volleyball team to a 25-12, 25-17, 25-15 sweep of visiting Lake Mead.

Kayla Johnson had five aces and five digs, and Jamie Mejia and Alexis Harris each added four kills for the Lions, who got five aces and three digs from Athena Lewis.

Shannon Regan had four kills and six blocks, and Taylor Webb added four kills and seven digs for Lake Mead. Jenette Hensley had 15 digs, and Savannah Schmidt supplied 12 digs for the Eagles, who got eight assists and four digs from Rachael Watkins.

Lincoln County 2-2, Laughlin 0-0 — At Panaca, Kaitlin Cheeney had six assists in the opener and four assists and four aces in the nightcap to help the Lynx sweep the Cougars, 25-12, 25-14 and 25-14, 25-10.

In the first match, Chelsea Lloyd had six kills and one dig for the Lynx.

In the finale, Chesnee Harding added two kills, five assists and two aces for Lincoln County.

Indian Springs 3, Sandy Valley 0 — At Indian Springs, the Thunderbirds were 25-19, 25-16, 25-23 winners over the Sidewinders.
