VOLLEYBALL: Lions roll to sweep of Saints

Deja Harris racked up 12 kills, eight aces, three digs and two blocks in the first match and eight kills and two blocks in the second match to lead host Calvary Chapel’s girls volleyball team to a 25-13, 25-10 and 25-10, 25-12 sweep of Mountain View on Friday.
In the first match, Brooke Davis had 13 assists and two kills, and Jamie Mejia added five kills for the Lions.
In the second match, Brooke Davis distributed 15 assists, and Alexis Davis added five aces for Calvary Chapel. Mejia again had five kills, and Davilyn Yates added four kills for the Lions.
Lincoln County 2-2, Agassi Prep 0-0 — At Panaca, Chelsea Lloyd had four kills in the opener and five kills and three aces in the nightcap as the Lynx swept the Stars, 25-16, 25-9 and 25-10, 25-14.
In the first match, Kaitlin Cheeney had eight aces and three assists, and Kaylee Teel added five aces and two kills for Lincoln County. Chesnee Harding dished out five assists, and Kayla Mathews supplied three kills and three blocks for the Lynx.
In the finale, Savannah Harr served six aces, and Mathews had three kills for Lincoln County.
