VOLLEYBALL: Pahrump Valley earns road victory over Mojave in four sets

Payton Hart had nine kills, and Bryana Soliwoda had 13 assists Wednesday to lead Pahrump Valley’s girls volleyball team to a 21-25, 25-22, 30-28, 25-18 win over host Mojave.

Makayla Davis had seven blocks, and Shayla Dance spiked six kills for the Trojans, who got eight digs from Jillian Smith.

Pamela Martin had 11 kills and three aces, and Jazmine Harris added 27 digs for the Rattlers.

Cheyenne 3, Clark 1 — At Cheyenne, Bria Buchanan had 12 kills and two blocks to help give the Desert Shields a 16-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-12 win over the Chargers.

Ebony Cavaco had 14 assists, and Erin McNally added five aces and 11 digs for Cheyenne.

Emi Atanoa led Clark with 15 kills and two blocks.

Las Vegas 3, Rancho 1 — At Rancho, Charlai Francis had 18 kills, and Sam Remer added 13 kills and 13 digs to lift the Wildcats to a 25-23, 25-17, 21-25, 25-18 win over the Rams.

Matti Ventling had 32 assists, and Shaleea Butler contributed nine kills, six assists and 19 digs for Las Vegas.

Kayla Coles had 15 kills, eight digs and two aces to pace Rancho. Danielle Carino added 10 kills and two aces, and Jordan Williams had seven kills and five blocks for the Rams.

Centennial 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Cristina Owens had five kills and two blocks as the Bulldogs rolled to a 25-14, 25-3, 25-8 win over the Spartans.

Bailey Anderson had two kills and five aces, and Jill Alvarez-Thompson added three kills and two blocks for Centennial, which also got three kills and two digs from Bethany Peterson.

Katie Curran had two kills and two digs, and Zaquae Downton supplied five digs for Cimarron.

Bonanza 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Sophie Cram posted 12 kills, and teammate Jenna Johnson recorded 12 digs as the Bengals defeated the Diamondbacks 25-10, 25-8, 25-19.

Hailey Huntsman dished out 23 assists for Bonanza.

Faith Lutheran 3, Western 0 — At Western, Megan Panikkar had 17 assists and five aces to lead the Crusaders to a 25-10, 25-12, 25-8 sweep of the Warriors.

Megan Kronschnabel dished out 17 assists, and Courtney Hansen put down 11 kills for Faith Lutheran. Morgan Hill had nine kills, and Nicole Thompson supplied five aces and seven digs for the Crusaders.

Yatzi Carranza paced Western with two kills and two blocks.

Bishop Gorman 3, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Makena Sherwood dished out 13 assists, and Victoria Harris put down nine kills to lead the Gaels to a 25-13, 25-10, 25-10 sweep of the Longhorns.

Vashti Cunningham supplied six kills and three blocks, and Victoria Ewalefo contributed seven kills and two blocks for Gorman.

Kassidy DeSchepper notched seven digs and four kills to lead Legacy.

Silverado 3, Valley 0 — At Silverado, Lauren Purdy had five kills, four aces and eight blocks to lead the Skyhawks to a 25-15, 25-21, 25-16 win over the Vikings.

Morgan Little had 12 assists and 10 digs, and Amari Norris added six blocks for Silverado, which also got 11 digs from Quinntana Reid and 10 digs from Melanie Srok.

Gabby Cabanero had 10 kills, 12 digs and two aces to pace Valley. Taylor Sandhu had 17 assists, and Ashley Abernathy added 14 digs for the Vikings.

Green Valley 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Shanna Olsen posted eight kills and six digs as the Gators downed the Pioneers 25-2, 25-18, 25-18.

Ally Seidler recorded 16 assists, and Carlee Becker had four assists for Green Valley.

Tea Rivera had three assists, and Maureen Talice added three blocks for Canyon Springs.

Lund 3, Adelson School 1 — At Adelson, the Mustangs defeated the Lions, 25-13, 24-26, 25-9, 25-17.
