VOLLEYBALL: Skyhawks down Wildcats, secure Northeast League title

Sydney Berenyi had 21 kills and 14 digs Tuesday as Silverado’s girls volleyball team won the Northeast League title by downing host Las Vegas, 25-21, 25-17, 19-25, 25-20.
Mackenzie Carter added 13 kills, and Cyrene Solomon dished out 39 assists for the Skyhawks.
Samantha Remer paced Las Vegas with 12 kills and 21 digs. Lexia Brockett had 35 assists and three aces, and Selena Rodriguez and Alexis McArthur each had seven kills for the Wildcats.
Faith Lutheran 3, Clark 0 — At Clark, Megan Kronschnabel dished out 24 assists, and Cayla Nikodemus had 11 kills as the Crusaders captured the Division I-A Sunset League title with a 25-8, 25-11, 25-17 sweep of the Chargers.
Bobbi Tharaldson and Jordyn Dunseath each added six kills for Faith Lutheran.
Alice Afualo had seven kills, and Angel Jamerson added 12 assists and eight digs for Clark, which got seven digs from Jinnie Macias-Monsalve.
Arbor View 3, Centennial 2 — At Centennial, Hannah Goddard had 22 kills and three aces to help the Aggies hold off the Bulldogs, 25-18, 25-18, 23-25, 22-25, 16-14.
Sarah Goddard added 12 kills and three aces, and Jenna McClure added 38 assists and five aces for Arbor View.
Johanna Alvarez-Thompson had 10 kills, 19 digs and four aces, and Deven Vieira added seven kills, three digs and six blocks for Centennial. Hannah Hitchcock had 20 assists and 10 digs, and Adrianna Galtieri chipped in 13 digs for the Bulldogs.
Pahrump Valley 3, Cheyenne 2 — At Pahrump, Shayla Dance had 10 kills, and Koral Hearn added eight kills to help the Trojans outlast the Desert Shields, 23-25, 25-23, 25-23, 20-25, 15-13.
Jill Smith had 26 assists, and Andi Bishop added five blocks for Pahrump.
Bria Buchanan spiked 28 kills, and Esther Durr had five aces for Cheyenne, which got 23 assists from Ebony Cavaco.
Desert Oasis 3, Chaparral 2 — At Chaparral, Ariel Blockovich had 26 asists, four aces, 15 digs and two kills as the Diamondbacks rallied for a 14-25, 19-25, 25-15, 25-9, 15-8 win over the Cowboys.
Kaylee Burkhiser had eight kills and 12 digs, and Madison Barton added seven aces, two assists and four digs for Desert Oasis. Cassie Chesler and Kaia Rhodes each had seven kills and two blocks for the Diamondbacks.
Monique Long had five kills, and Abigail Delgado added four kills for Chaparral, which also got 10 assists from Kayla Enderle.
Sierra Vista 3, Western 0 — At Sierra Vista, Kira Felise had 22 assists, six digs and four kills to help the Mountain Lions roll past the Warriors, 25-11, 25-16, 25-18.
Caroline Sauder had five aces to help Sierra Vista, and teammate Erin Celestine added five digs.
Destiny Gonzalez led Western with five kills and eight digs, and teammate Ada Alfaro added 10 assists.
Bonanza 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Bonanza, Sophie Cram had 19 kills to power the Bengals to a 25-18, 25-23, 25-20 win over the Spartans.
Claire Goodsell added seven digs for Bonanza.
Breeana DeCoud supplied eight kills, and Zaquae Downton contributed seven kills and four digs to lead Cimarron.
Liberty 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Liberty, Morgan Husli had 20 assists, 12 aces, three kills and three digs to help the Patriots to a 25-17, 25-9, 25-19 sweep of the Pioneers.
Erika Martinez had two kills, five aces and 27 digs, and Kourtnie Rodrigues added three aces, two assists and 11 digs for Liberty. Camren Kyle contributed 18 digs and three aces for the Patriots.
Maureen Talice had four kills, and Tea Rivera had three assists for Canyon Springs, which got five digs from Estela Rodriguez.
Spring Valley 3, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, the Grizzlies defeated the Rattlers, 27-25, 25-15, 25-15.
Sierra Cummings led Mojave with nine kills and 17 digs, and RayEna Rael added 21 assists for the Rattlers.
Lincoln County 2-2, Mountain View 0-1 — At Panaca, Chesnee Harding had 10 assists and three aces in the opener and 16 assists and four aces in the nightcap as the Lynx defeated the Saints, 25-19, 25-14 and 22-25, 25-16, 15-7.
Bridon Lewis had six kills, and Hannah Hafen and Jillyn Katschke each added four kills in the first match for Lincoln County.
In the finale, Kayla Matthews had 13 kills and three aces to help Lincoln County, and teammate Easton Tingey added 10 assists.
Lake Mead 3, Agassi Prep 0 — At Lake Mead, Allee Butz had eight kills, and Josey White added nine aces in the Eagles’ 25-8, 25-12, 25-20 victory over the Stars.
Alayna McNamara finished with three kills and four aces for Lake Mead, and teammate Savannah Schmidt had 11 digs.
Pahranagat Valley 3, Word of Life 0 — At Alamo, Madison Harris had eight kills, and Allyse Frehner dished out 21 assists as the Panthers wrapped up the No. 1 seed for the Division IV Southern League playoffs with a 25-7, 25-11, 25-19 win over the Eagles.
Gracie Carter had five kills, and Jamie Hansen added 24 digs and four aces for Pahranagat Valley, which got four kills and three digs from Jade Jewett.
