VOLLEYBALL: Williams, Durango top Wolves

Precious Williams had 16 kills, 10 digs and three aces Monday to help Durango’s girls volleyball team to a 25-23, 26-24, 19-25, 28-26 win over visiting Basic.

Trea Ortega added 12 kills, five digs and two aces, and Carly Taylor had 29 assists and 11 digs for Durango. Cayla Cooper supplied 16 digs, and Kat Jaksic contributed five blocks for the Trailblazers.

Autumn Philipczyk led Basic with 11 kills and three digs. Kyla Bohannon had nine kills and four digs, and Linsie Udall had 16 digs and four aces for the Wolves.

Del Sol 3, Mojave 2 — At Del Sol, Taylor Curtis had 12 kills, six aces and 37 digs as the Dragons rallied for a 25-16, 17-25, 23-25, 25-23, 15-10 win over the Rattlers.

Azhwalaee Oliver had nine kills, five blocks and 45 digs, and Christina Lancaster supplied seven kills, 12 assists and 27 digs for Del Sol, which got eight kills and 43 digs from Sierra Morales.

Moapa Valley 3, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Bailey Owens had 16 kills, and Makenzie Bush added 12 kills in the Pirates’ 18-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-23 win over the Cowboys.

Cheyenne Leavitt served four aces for Moapa Valley.

Chaparral's Hannah Kirschbaum had 17 kills and four aces, and Alejandra Macias added six kills and 28 assists for the Cowboys, who got 27 digs from Rebekah Sylcott.

Sunrise Mountain 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Evelyn Lopez had 24 assists, four aces and three kills to help the Miners to a 25-13, 25-18, 25-15 sweep of the Jaguars.

Deanna Manning recorded six kills, and Rebecca Ramirez added six aces and nine digs for Sunrise Mountain.

Boulder City 3, Tech 0 — At Boulder City, Whitney Barlow had 13 kills and three blocks as the Eagles routed the Roadrunners, 25-13, 25-12, 25-11.

Kendall Miller added nine aces and 20 assists, and Tara Cox served five aces for the Eagles.
