Daffer, Nauck lead Trojans to Basic Duals title

Pahrump Valley's wrestling team won the Basic Duals title Wednesday with a 42-38 victory over Boulder City in the finals.

The Trojans also won 48-30 over Canyon Springs, 45-27 over Basic, 57-20 over Desert Oasis and 49-25 over Western.

Pahrump Valley heavyweight Kory Daffer and Micah Nauck (126 pounds) both went 5-0 in the event. Freshmen teammates Jaxon Clayton (182) and Jace Clayton (195) were 4-1 and 3-2, respectively.

Pahrump Valley's Levi Grundacker (106), Kevin Hernandez (113) and Serio Rodriguez (120) each went 4-1.
