Roundup: Cimarron-Memorial records six pins in win over Centennial

Cimarron-Memorial won six matches by fall on Wednesday as the Spartans earned a 46-33 home win over Centennial.

Michael Robles (113), Alex Chavarria (120), Daniel Rodriguez (145), Amado Castellon (152), Carlos Hernandez (195) and Adrian Alonso (220) each won by pin for Centennial.

Sammy Salazar (126), Nico Antuna (138), Ike Edwards (160), Tyler Roper (182) and Sam Norris (285) had falls for Centennial.

Mojave 48, Cheyenne 33 — At Cheyenne, Dominic Mota had a pinfall victory in his 113-pound match to lead the Rattlers past the Desert Shields.

Thomas Varela (120), Matthew Rodgers (152), Sebastian James (160), Mekhi Brown (170) and Sergio Salazar (195) also had pins for Mojave.

Cheyenne 37, Desert Pines 34 — At Cheyenne, Angelo Avila-Cunana scored a pin in 2 minutes, 41 seconds in his 106-pound match to help the Desert Shields beat the Jaguars.

Wesley Federson (138), Ryan Buchanan (145), Javier Guadarrama (220) and Chance Franz (285) also recorded pinfalls for Cheyenne.

Mojave 41, Desert Pines 23 — At Cheyenne, Rattlers Mota recorded a pinfall victory in 1 minute, 28 seconds to lead Mojave to another victory.

Akil West (138), Juan Mayorga-Trujillo (145), Brown (170), Salazar (195) and Ivan Parra (285) also had pinfall victories for the Rattlers.

10Shadow Ridge 37, Arbor View 33 — At Arbor View, Tehani Soares won by pin in nine seconds at 113 pounds to lead the Mustangs past the Aggies.

Jake Anderson (138), Noah Gallardo (160) and Marc Williams (170) also recorded first-period pins for Shadow Ridge.

Nathan Egbalic (145), Cannon Rivers (182) and Tai Tuinei (220) won by fall for Arbor View.

Green Valley 56, Liberty 24 — At Liberty, the Gators won four matches by pin to top the Patriots.

Abigail Halstead (106), Will Zernich (120), Karter Kares (170) and Jose Garcia (220) recorded pins for Green Valley.

Boulder City 52, Virgin Valley 24 — At Boulder City, the Eagles won six matches by pin to defeat the Bulldogs.

Garrett Leavitt (120), Ladd Cox (145), Jimmy Dunagan (152), Cade Cowley (160), Ryan Vanario (195) and Mike Kaposta (285) recorded falls for Boulder City.

Rudy Cannon (106), Gage Woods (113), Ty Smith (126) and Case Crandall (182) won by pin for Virgin Valley.

Pahrump Valley 60, Western 17 — At Sunrise Mountain, Alec Torres (126) won by fall to lead the Trojans by the Warriors.

Pahrump also won 10 matches by forfeit.

Western’s Angelo Vigilia (106) and Antonio Navarro (120) won by fall, and teammate Diego Ortega recorded a technical fall at 113 as the Warriors won three of the four contested matches.

Pahrump Valley 72, Sunrise Mountain 12 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Trojans got 12 forfeits to roll the Miners.

Alex Herrera (170) and Jose Lara (285) each won by fall for Sunrise Mountain.

Western 36, Sunrise Mountain 12 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Warriors got six forfeits to defeat the Miners.

No matches were contested on the mat.

Las Vegas 75, Valley 2 — At Valley, the Wildcats won six matches by fall and six by forfeit en route to the easy victory over the Vikings.

Nathan Rhoads pinned his opponent in 26 seconds to lead Las Vegas. Trace Everett (120), Daniel Law (138), Jakob Alvarado (152), Javio Bowman (170) and Kevin Mouncil (195) also recorded pins for the Wildcats.
