ROUNDUP: Cisneros, Jaguars take down Bulldogs, Cowboys

Desert Pines heavyweight Michael Cisneros posted a pair of first-period pins to lead the host Jaguars’ wrestling team to a 48-30 win over Virgin Valley and a 60-14 victory over Chaparral.

Desert Pines’ Jonathan Tan earned a pin at 170 pounds against Virgin Valley.

Virgin Valley downed Chaparral, 39-27 in the other dual.

Green Valley tops Basic, Moapa Valley
At Green Valley, Sean Cannon (106) and Richard Razo (138) each won twice to lead the host Gators to a 66-6 victory over Basic and a 69-6 win over Moapa Valley.

Moapa Valley beat Basic 45-36 in the other dual.

Liberty rolls to two wins
At Liberty, Colin Schultz (152), Conner Watanabe (160), Jordan Joseph (170), Kory Koryakos (182) and Michael Siwiec (195) each won two matches by pin as the Patriots picked up easy wins over Foothill and Coronado.

Liberty downed Foothill 61-14 and topped Coronado 66-12.

Koryakos and Siwiec each won by fall in less than a minute against Coronado.

Foothill used five pins to beat Corondo 53-15 in the other dual.

Canyon Springs tops Rancho, Valley
At Canyon Springs, the host Pioneers defeated Rancho 39-33 and Valley 52-24.

Rancho rolled past Valley 72-12 in the other dual.

Las Vegas tops Eldorado, Sunrise Mountain
At Las Vegas, Cornelius Brown (170) won twice by pin to help the host Wildcats beat Eldorado 37-36 and Sunrise Mountain 55-12.

Las Vegas also received two victories each in contested matches from Jesse Sanchez (120), Cody Keller (132), Aaron Gonzalez (138), Eli Fisher (152) and Juan Arias (182).
