ROUNDUP: Dunn, Truchard lead Bengals past Warriors, Diamondbacks

Cole Dunn and Brandon Truchard recorded two pins apiece Tuesday to help Bonanza’s wrestling team to wins over Western and host Desert Oasis.

Dunn collected two wins at 120 pounds, and Truchard won twice at 138 as the Bengals downed the Warriors, 41-34 and defeated the Diamondbacks, 50-28. Western was a 46-30 winner over Desert Oasis.

William Orchard (106), Ash Johnson (132), Josh Jackson (145), Curtis Montenegro (152) and Spencer Stewart (195) each won twice for Bonanza.

Desert Oasis’ Mario Fitzpatrick collected two pins at 138 pounds.

Spring Valley rolls past Sierra Vista, Clark
At Clark, Enzo Perez (113), Teven Mayo (132), Dan Vantassel (145), Dominic True (195) and Silvano Villanueva (285) each won a pair of matches by pin as Spring Valley rolled to a 72-9 win over Sierra Vista and a 79-0 win over Clark.

Mayo earned a pair of first-period pins, including a 20-second match against Sierra Vista.

Jordan Conner (138), Rodrigo Santos (152), Uzoma Obilor (160), Ray Waters (170) and Churchill Rochester (182) each had a pin for the Grizzlies.

Noah Slabaugh (113), Zachary Diones (120) and Miles Kekoa (195) each won by pin to help the Mountain Lions to a 42-36 win over the Chargers in the other meet.

Justin Gullick (132) won by fall for Clark.

Gaels win pair of duals
At Pahrump, Nick Solari (132), Tommy Field (160) and heavyweight Zack Singer each won two matches by pin, helping Bishop Gorman roll to a 58-13 win over Durango and a 44-24 victory over Pahrump Valley.

Micah Nauck won twice by pin for Pahrump, which defeated Durango 63-18 in the other dual.

Gators sweep Cougars, Skyhawks
Four individuals each won twice by pin to help Green Valley cruise to a 64-9 victory over host Coronado and a 70-6 win over Silverado.

Jared Brathor (113 pounds), Ryder Newman (160), David Hosey (170) and James Byrne (182) each posted two pins for Green Valley.

Silverado defeated Coronado 42-35 in the other dual.

Cimarron tops Faith Lutheran, Arbor View
At Faith Lutheran, Chris Colwell (126) and heavyweight Austin Sinyard each won twice by pin to power Cimarron-Memorial to a 63-9 win over Faith Lutheran and a 45-28 victory over Arbor View.

Jake Rau (145) posted two pins for Arbor View, which beat Faith Lutheran 63-15 in the other dual.
