ROUNDUP: Eagles pin Trojans to win Boulder City Duals

Boulder City recorded eight victories by pin Saturday to defeat Pahrump Valley, 57-24 in the championship match of the Boulder City Duals.

The Eagles got victories by fall from Clinton Garvin (120 pounds), Patrick Garvin (138), Jeremiah Rodriguez (145), Tyler Bethany (152), Billy Viera (160), Brandon Foster (195), Jackson Dunagan (220) and Joe Tonesky (285).

Boulder City went 4-0 in the event, also defeating Basic (48-18), Sierra Vista (58-8) and Faith Lutheran (77-0).

Pahrump advanced to the final match by posting a 54-9 win over Moapa Valley, a 48-31 win over Mohave (Ariz.) and a 41-33 victory against Foothill.

Foothill finished third in the event, followed by Sierra Vista, Mohave, Basic, Moapa Valley and Faith Lutheran.

Patriots win Liberty Duals
At Liberty, the host school was a 52-15 winner over Las Vegas in the championship match of the Liberty Duals.

Spring Valley defeated Coronado, 59-18 in the third-place match, and Eldorado was a 47-30 winner over Western in the fifth-place match.

Gators claim Green Valley Duals
At Green Valley, the Gators posted a 42-21 win over Cimarron-Memorial in the title match of the Green Valley Duals.

Santiago (Calif.) placed third in the field of 16 teams, followed by Palo Verde and Centennial.
