ROUNDUP: Madsen, Lopez lead Liberty to two wins

Donald Madsen and Alberto Lopez each recorded two pins Thursday as Liberty won twice at the Cliff Keen Duals at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Patriots beat two-time defending Class 4A state champion Mojave, 44-28, and downed Durango, 52-21.

Madsen won twice at 125 pounds. Lopez’s two pins came at 171.

Michael Reveles (140) and Carlos Tautoto (285) also each won twice for Liberty.

Foothill 41, Rancho 30 — At Las Vegas Convention Center, the Falcons won four matches by pin to defeat the Rams.

Cimarron-Memorial 57, Foothill 19 — At Las Vegas Convention Center, the Spartans had three pins and won five matches by forfeit on the way to the easy victory.

Las Vegas 51, Arbor View 24 — At Las Vegas, the Wildcats recorded seven pins en route to downing Arbor View.
