ROUNDUP: Pahrump Valley wins Boulder City Duals

Pahrump Valley recorded pins or forfeit wins at each of the six heaviest weight classes Saturday to defeat Foothill, 48-36 in the championship match of the Boulder City Duals.

The Trojans went 4-0 in the eight-team event. Pahrump Valley also defeated Silverado (62-9), Basic (43-24) and Boulder City (48-24).

Foothill went 2-1 in its pool, defeating Cimarron-Memorial's junior varsity (55-24) and Mohave (Ariz.) (45-36).

Basic defeated Cheyenne, 51-15 in the third-place match.

Silverado finished fifth, followed by Mohave, Boulder City and Cimarron's junior varsity.

Canyon Springs Invitational

Liberty advanced five wrestlers to the finals and won three championships en route to claiming the Canyon Springs Invitational.

The Patriots had a team score of 173. Canyon Springs took second with 161.5

Ely Lions Tournament

Battle Mountain captured three individual championships to win the Ely Lion Wrestling tournament at White Pine with 178 points.

Moapa Valley (118) was second and White Pine (87.5) third.
