ROUNDUP: Spartans take third at Mustang Stampede

Cimarron-Memorial's wrestling team posted a 53-18 win over host Shadow Ridge on Saturday in the third-place match of the Division I bracket of the Mustang Stampede.

Temecula (Calif.) was a 41-24 winner over Alta (Utah) in the top bracket championship.

Temecula's junior varsity downed Sierra Vista, 57-24 in the Division II bracket final. Legacy was a 36-26 winner over Durango for third place in the bracket.

In the Division III bracket, Alta's junior varsity downed Cheyenne, 54-18 in the final. White Pine edged Eldorado, 33-27 for third.

SPRING VALLEY DUALS

Liberty defeated host Spring Valley 54-27 to capture the championship at the Spring Valley Duals.

Arbor View defeated Foothill 45-30 to win the third-place match.
