Wyatt English pinned his opponent in 52 seconds at 138 pounds Thursday to lead Foothill's wrestling team to a 37-29 win over visiting Basic.

Kohl Velado (126), Isaac Oliva (152) and Tyler Hickman (160) also won by fall for Foothill.

Devin McBride (113), Weston Moon (182) and Eddy Ramirez (195) posted pins for Basic.

Coronado 42, Rancho 25 — At Coronado, the Cougars got three pins and three forfeits to down the Rams.

Jordan Marzka (182), Michael Carter (220) and Kacey Hawes (285) each won by fall for Coronado.
