WRESTLING: McLin, Chargers pin Mojave

Stefan McLin won by pin in 1 minute, 35 seconds at 138 pounds to help Clark’s wrestling team to a 48-22 win over visiting Mojave on Thursday.

Foday Konjan (106), Gabriel Camacho (120) and Michael Hervis (195) also won by pin for the Chargers.

Anthony Tario (160) and DaiJon Payno (182) had pin-fall victories for the Rattlers.

Clark 54, Cheyenne 24 — At Clark, Konjan (106), Hervis (195), Edwin Centeno (220) and Jacob Chaperian (285) all won by pin to lift the Chargers past the Desert Shields.

Chester Carupo (113) and Alex Arnone (152) picked up pins for Cheyenne.

Mojave 54, Cheyenne 24 — At Clark, Adrian Saravia won by pin in 1:29 at 170 pounds as the Rattlers topped the Desert Shields.

Lanson Evangelista-Avenue (106), Ruben Corona (145) and Carlos Rangel (285) also won by pin for Clark.

Cheyenne’s Carupo (113), Steven Outhommontry (138) and George Carmona (195) won by pin.

Moapa Valley 42, Sunrise Mountain 24 — At Sunrise Mountain, Jared Repp’s pin in 1:15 at 170 pounds helped the Pirates edge the Miners.

Austin Leavitt (138) and Kaleb Bodily (152) also won by pin for Moapa Valley.

Javier Perez (120), Darrell Lampkin (126), Jose Corona (195) and Thomas Butler (220) won by pin for Sunrise Mountain.

Desert Pines 48, Moapa Valley 22 — At Sunrise Mountain, Angel Rocha (120), Eric Awa-Moppert (132), Michael Navarro (160), Allan Isaguirre (182), Jorge Magana (195) and Oscar Orozco (220) won by pin as the Jaguars downed the Pirates.
