Spring Valley’s wrestling team won three matches by pin Thursday en route to a 54-20 home victory over Sierra Vista.

Ryan Mitchell (106 pounds) and Xavier Hopkins (160) had first-period pins for the Grizzlies. Andres Garcia (132) also won by fall for Spring Valley.

Noah Parker had a pin at 145 for the Mountain Lions.

Bishop Gorman 50, Durango 27 — At Gorman, the Gaels won five matches by forfeit to defeat the Trailblazers.

Patrick Woodring (145) and Joey Mazzara (170) won by fall for Gorman.

Kaden Renshaw (138), Alec Dachs (152) and Josiah Boyd (220) had pins for Durango.
