Vegas tourism agency joins royal baby hype: ‘See you in 21 years’

Sin City tourism officials are banking on the new royal baby taking after Las Vegas-loving uncle.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority expressed their congratulations to the boy born Monday to Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, posting a greeting on Facebook that reads, “Congratulations on the royal addition. See you in 21 years.”

It’s not the first time that the convention bureau has seized upon hype over the British royal family. The agency issued tongue-in-cheek ads supporting Prince Harry after nude photos of him partying in Las Vegas surfaced last year.

Adding to the online sentiment, the authority added: “Las Vegas congratulates the new parents on their family addition. The destination encourages everyone to have a royal time while here on holiday and with more than 330,000 visitors annually from the United Kingdom, we can’t wait to welcome one more in 2034.”
