Mirage hosts animal adoption event

Whales took second place to dogs and cats at The Mirage hotel-casino recently, courtesy of a dog named Charlie, who inspired “Charlie’s Angels Pet Adoption Fair” on Dec. 11.

The adoption of 85 dogs and cats by Mirage employees is believed to be one of the largest adoption efforts by The Animal Foundation. One of the successes was Mirage security officer Doug Owens, who adopted an American Bulldog he named Bo.
