It has been five years since Cadence, Henderson’s newest master planned community, turned on the lights with its “Lights On” event.
Today, Cadence is now home to more than 1,700 families, offers a choice of three schools, and recently welcomed the Cadence Animal Hospital to the community, among other existing features.
In early 2020, Cadence ranked in the top 10 in the nation of top selling master planned communities by RCLCO Real Estate Advisors as well as by John Burns Real Estate Consulting.
“We’re seeing a lot of homebuyers looking for a quiet community with lots of amenities,” said Cheryl Gowan, spokesperson for Cadence. “They find that and so much more at Cadence.”
The 2,200-acre community is tucked away near Lake Mead Recreational Area yet is only 20 minutes to McCarran International Airport, 20 minutes to Downtown Las Vegas, and provides easy access to US 95 and the 215 Beltway. Upon completion, Cadence will boast 13,250 homes.
“Cadence is a quiet community, away from the hustle and bustle, yet provides an opportunity to easily access all that Southern Nevada has to offer,” Gowan noted. “And, in addition to what our region offers, there are many community-driven events we’ve built right here at Cadence for so many to enjoy.”
Among the amenities and events for residents, there is an annual Block Party with games, food and activities galore for the entire family and, separately, the community’s festive holiday gathering, WinterFest. Cadence has also launched a number of events that are open to the broader public, like its Summer Soiree series, which attracts some of the area’s best food trucks and entertainers for a family-friendly evening of games, dancing and more in Central Park.
Cadence also features free WiFi in its 50-acre Central Park, which includes splash pads, a resident-only pool, amphitheater, adventure playground, pickleball courts and a Fitness Court.
In addition to Central Park, Cadence boasts the Dakota Dog Park within Desert Pulse Park. Desert Pulse Park offers not only a dog park but also a children’s play area.
With all the amenities Cadence offers, it’s no wonder homebuilders are seeing brisk sales.
There are currently five homebuilders in Cadence – Toll Brothers, Woodside Homes, Richmond American Homes, StoryBook Homes, and Lennar. More builders are expected to be announced in 2020 further providing more housing options for buyers.
