HIGHLIGHTS
Knicks 109, Wizards 107 (OT) -- The Knicks (3-2) rallied from a 20-point deficit to force overtime, then survived three straight missed free throws by Toney Douglas (19 points). The Wizards, who sat John Wall, committed 22 turnovers and finished 4-1.
Heat 73, Cavaliers 69 -- Miami capped a successful first run in Las Vegas, going 4-1, as Antywane Robinson led the Heat with 15 points, including a jumper with 53.8 seconds remaining to break a 68-68 tie. Danny Green had 17 points to lead the Cavs (3-1).
Spurs 77, Clippers 62 -- Alonzo Gee scored 20 points to lead San Antonio (4-0).
Trail Blazers 67, Timberwolves 60 -- The UNR duo of Luke Babbitt and Armon Johnson had 15 and 13 points to lead Portland (3-1). Deon Thompson had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Minnesota (1-3).
Raptors 101, Hornets 93 -- Toronto finished 5-0 thanks to Ronald Dupree's 24 points and eight rebounds. The Hornets, who went winless, were led by Craig Brackins' 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Kings 76, Bulls 75 -- Tyrese Rice's free throw with 1.8 seconds remaining gave Sacramento (4-0) its only lead. Omri Casspi's 3-pointer tied the score at 75 for the Kings with 24.1 seconds to play.
Hawks 97, D-League 86 -- Atlanta built a 20-point halftime lead in keeping the D-Leaguers winless at 0-4. Jeff Teague paced the Hawks (2-2) with 19 points.
STARS
Reserve forward Leo Lyons averaged a point a minute for the Knicks, scoring 21 points before injuring his left shoulder late in the fourth quarter against Washington.
Omri Casspi scored 22 points, going 5 of 9 from 3-point range, and led Sacramento's fourth-quarter comeback against Chicago after the Kings trailed by 17.
WALL SITS OUT FINALE
Wizards rookie guard John Wall was in street clothes for the Summer League finale against the Knicks at Cox Pavilion. The No. 1 overall pick in last month's draft logged heavy minutes in four games, and the Wizards didn't need to push things with the player they're building their future around.
"It was a great experience," said Wall, who led Washington in scoring (23.5) and assists (9.3), averaging 36 minutes for four games. "I give myself a B, maybe an A-minus.
"I developed chemistry with my teammates, and I got an idea of how people are going to try and guard me."
Wall said he's going to take a few days off, then get back in the gym to prepare for training camp in October.
Washington also sat Ja'Vale McGee. The former UNR forward had an outstanding week, averaging 19.5 points and 9.3 rebounds in four games.
RANDOLPH stitched up, ok
Miami Heat power forward Shavlik Randolph got five stitches above his left eye after leaving the court bleeding from a hard fall under the basket in the second quarter.
Randolph appeared dazed as he was escorted off. He did not return but said later he was OK.
"I don't know if I got kicked or kneed, but I had to get five stitches, and that was that," he said.
Randolph said he hopes he can return to Miami and join the hunt for a championship after playing three games with the Heat last year.
"I've been there working with them all summer," Randolph said. "There are a lot of opportunities for guys to fit roles, and that's what I'm looking for."
VLADE VISITS VEGAS
Former Kings and Lakers standout Vlade Divac took time from his West Coast vacation to watch Sacramento play the Bulls. Divac, who played for the Kings from 1998 to 2004, lives in his native Serbia and is the president of his country's Olympic committee.
QUOTABLE
"No way I was missing two in a row. I hadn't done that since my freshman year of college." -- Kings guard Tyrese Rice, whose free throw with 1.8 seconds remaining -- after missing his first attempt -- gave Sacramento a 76-75 win over the Chicago Bulls.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Summer League's seventh season concludes today. Cleveland's J.J. Hickson, averaging 26 points per game, will try to wrap up the scoring title when the Cavaliers face Milwaukee at 1 p.m. at Cox Pavilion.
