Cantor Gaming to take bets at Boulevard, Giuseppe’s restaurants

Sports book operator Cantor Gaming announced three new deals Monday allowing the company to further expand its mobile and self-service wagering business in bars and restaurants in Southern Nevada.

The privately held company expects the so-called kiosks to open later this week at Boulevard Bar and Grille and Giuseppe's Bar and Grille in Las Vegas. Cantor Gaming expects its betting station at Giuseppe's Bar and Grill in Henderson to open by March 31.

"These agreements are further testament to the strength and popularity of our products," said Lee Amaitis, president and CEO of Cantor Gaming.

State gaming regulators must approve the Henderson deal. Terms were not disclosed. Customers will be able to sign up for a sports wagering account at the sports wagering station, as well as fund their account and withdraw funds.

Boulevard Bar and Grille and Giuseppe's Bar and Grill patrons will be able to wager anywhere in Nevada, because they'll be registered to use Cantor Gaming's mobile application or website.

Amaitis said the agreements "mark another step toward expanding the availability of mobile sports wagering."

Cantor Gaming in the last two months has signed several deals with local bars and restaurants to offer customers its "sports wagering sign-up station."

In September, Cantor Gaming and Corrigan Management Inc. entered into an agreement to allow two RoadRunner Saloons in Las Vegas, followed by Vertigo Enterprises LLC allowing Cantor Gaming into it only Outpost Saloon location in Las Vegas.

Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, in October expanded its deal with the Tropicana Las Vegas, to include The One Group. The deal allows customers of its Bagatelle Beach and Supper Club to wager on sports and casino games using mobile devices.

The company on Wednesday announced a long-term deal with Golden Gaming LLC to operate its race and sports books at the Pahrump Nugget. The deal, which state gaming regulators need to approve, will be Cantor Gaming's eighth sports book and its first outside Clark County.

Cantor Gaming operates seven sports books in Southern Nevada at the M Resort, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, The Venetian, Palazzo, Tropicana Las Vegas, Hard Rock Hotel and Palms. The company was licensed in Nevada in 2006.
