Twelve underdogs scored outright upsets, including three at 8-1 or greater: Illinois (+1,300 at Penn State), Rice (+1,200 at UAB) and New Mexico (+800 at Wyoming). Also, a week after upsetting Liberty as a 30-1 underdog, Louisiana Monroe struck again, beating South Alabama at +425 on the money line.
