COLLEGE FOOTBALL BAD BEATS BLOG: 3 huge underdogs pull off upsets

Top matchups include No. 8 Oklahoma State at Iowa State, No. 10 Oregon at UCLA, and Southern California at No. 13 Notre Dame. There are 45 games overall.

12:20 a.m.: That’s it for today. Favorites went 21-22 against the spread with two games closing pick’em. Twelve underdogs scored outright upsets, including three at 8-1 or greater: Illinois (+1,300 at Penn State), Rice (+1,200 at UAB) and New Mexico (+800 at Wyoming). Also, a week after upsetting Liberty as a 30-1 underdog, Louisiana Monroe struck again, beating South Alabama at +425 on the money line.

Totals went 26-19 to the under.
