UPDATES

11:30 p.m.: That’s it for today. Clemson produced the most memorable moment — and possibly the worst bad beat of the season — by scoring a defensive touchdown on the final play to cover -9½ in a 30-20 victory over Florida State. The Seminoles were trying a series of desperate laterals, but when one hit the ground, a Clemson defender picked it up and fell into the end zone for the covering score. Clemson never led by more than four points until the final play.

Favorites went 30-18 against the spread, with one game closing pick’em. Eleven underdogs scored outright upsets, led by Washington State, which stunned Arizona State 34-21 at +525 on the money line. Other upsets included Bowling Green (+425 at Buffalo), Miami (Fla.) (+290 at Pittsburgh), West Virginia (+250 vs. Iowa State) and Purdue (+240 at Nebraska).

Totals went 26-23 to the over.

Betting results for every game — full game, first half and second half — are listed at the bottom of this story.

Thanks for reading. We’ll be back Sunday for the NFL.
