2 Shez a Masterpiece - FTS from Craig Dollase barn; worked a bullet at Santa Anita that may have tipped her hand.
Long Shot - 5 Nicole Michelle
Race 2 - 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 6 feet), Purse $75,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
9 Susan B Good - Could be one of the shorter priced favorites today; of course, being a chalk in week one was the kiss of death.
1 Euroclydon - Like the rail post on this turf course; can save all the ground and find room to rally turning for home.
Long Shot - 7 Three Blondes
Race 3 - 1 mile, Purse $24,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
5 Winninginfashion - Woke up with a career best effort in last; leap of faith that there is one more step of improvement left in her.
3 Warren’s Lil Margie - Fourth start off the claim by Jeff Mullins; subtle class drop and Tyler Baze remains loyal to the cause.
Long Shot - 7 Gia Is a Bella
Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $28,000, Claiming $12,500, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
9 Mizzilli - This ship and win invader looks to have a puncher’s chance to upset; strong synthetic resume at Turfway and PID.
4 Woebegon - Is 0-for-3 lifetime at Del Mar, but has a solid synthetic resume; hopefully the drop in class will help.
Long Shot - 1 Fanny Brice -
Race 5 - 5 furlongs (turf, rail at 6 feet), Purse $77,000, Optional claiming $20,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
7 Mal Verde - Has run two big turf sprints under his best; speed to lead but suspect can rate if asked by Drayden Van Dyke.
2 Gangnam Guy - Class relief from the Echo Eddie stakes for this; Mike Smith has been selective with mount, and winning a lot.

2 Dublin Dancer - Has a sterling synthetic resume from Golden Gate Fields; like the key vote coming from Rafael Bejarano.
1 Chilcotin - Anither will a strong synthetic resume from NoCal; that Tapeta surface is very good, just ask Shared Belief.
Long Shot - 6 Swissarella

3 Raised a Secret - A tip from opening week was to look for horses who have won at Del Mar; this guy has a shot at a square price.
11 Quality Plan - Broke his MSW last year at Del Mar and did not start again; Bob Baffert brings him back off a one year layoff.
Long Shot - 8 Kate’s Event
Race 8 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 6 feet), $90,000 Wickerr, 3-year-olds and up
5 No Jet Lag - Talented enough to run in the BC Mile behind Wise Dan; this is a softer spot for return, but he has bigger fish to fry.
4 Bright Thought - Tepid chalk in a really wide open affair; Rafael Bejarano has shaken off the rust pretty quickly.
Long Shot - 6 Safety Belt
Race 9 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Claiming $80,000, 3-year-olds and up
1 Format V. - An ship and win candidate who won at Del Mar in another lifetime; top connections in Bob Hess and Kent Desormeaux.
9 Mensa Heat - Has been around a long time; 3-of-10 lifetime wins have come over the Del Mar synthetics, a horse for course.
