4 Notorious - Leap of faith that when in doubt in a blind switch, go with Jerry Hollendorfer; has been working OK for career debut.

5 McSwiss - Morning line favorite from the Mike Harrington barn that was 0-for-42 at Santa Anita; key angle is he is stabled at Los Al.

Long Shot - 1 Roper

Race 2 - 1 mile, Purse $17,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 Wicked Heat - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; $18K price tag is lower than what was claimed for.

2 End of Time - Getting long in the tooth at 0-for-12 at this bottom class rung; key is he has speed and the rail post at a mile is good.

Long Shot - 5 Uncle Luck

Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Starter allowance $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

3 Gal Has to Like It - Productive claim for $8K by Alfredo Marquez; finds a good spot, where protected, to gain a win with this one.

1 Half Dome Dude - Been nibbling the last 2 years with a 1-for-15 win record; runs fast enough speed figures to get the job done.

Long Shot - 5 Newfound Gold

Race 4 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

4 Three Point Luke - Hard to believe an Empire Maker son can’t outrun a fat man; taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW.

8 Vite Tribal Reign - Leap of faith that he was well bet in last for a good reason; he didn’t run much, but faces an easier task tonight.

Long Shot - 1 Astutely

Race 5 - 5 furlongs, Purse $42,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds

5 Midnight Candy - Ran OK in career debut at Arlington Park; Kent Desormeaux riding for Keith Desormeaux, expect a top effort.

1 Starlet O’Hara - Good horses usually have good names, and this is a good name; Bob Baffert filly may be gone with the wind in here.

Long Shot - 6 Ultimate Holiday

Race 6 - 6 furlongs, Purse $46,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

5 Peacenik - Bill Spawr is always dangerous, double so when he legs Mike Smith up; they have had a lot of success together.

6 My Slew - Won nicely off the claim by Victor Garcia; is bumped up in class but like that Joe Talamo thought enough to ride this one.

Long Shot - 3 The Cleaners

Race 7 - 1 1/16th miles, $75,000 American Flag, 3-year-olds and up

3 War Academy - Bob Baffert has an uncoupled entry, so caveat emptor; this one will try to lead wire to wire, Sky Kingdom from off the pace

5 Magic Mark - Tepid chalk in a much harder than looks field; has shown that he does not need the early lead to succeed.

Long Shot - 7 Fly Lexis Fly

Race 8 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

3 Swiss Heart - Another good chance for Mike Harrington barn to get off recent schneid; has run speed figures fast enough to crush these.

6 Ball Park Lady - Caesar Dominguez won a race on opening day; adding blinkers on, suspect he has pointed horses for this lesser meet.

Long Shot - 7 Amina Perfect

Best Bet - 3 Swiss Heart (race 8)
