Post Time 12:30 p.m.
Race 1 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $23,000, Maiden claiming $30,000, 3-year-olds
9 J J Be Chillin - FTS from Jeff Mullins; hard to believe he is 0-for-17 so far in Arcadia, that can change today.
7 One for Nothing - He is fast enough, but 0-for-10 shows no killer instinct; adding blinkers on.
Long Shot - 3 Warrens Hornblower
Race 2 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $65,000, Optional claiming $80,000, 4-year-olds and up
5 Great Mills - Exits a key race in the BC Turf Sprint; no shame finishing right behind Mizdirection and Reneesgotzip.
4 Irish Art - Proven performer down the hillside turf course; suspect will sit a trip and try the favorite late.
Long Shot - 1 Ain't No Other
Race 3 - 7 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Claiming $10,000, 4-year-olds and up
3 Rummysecret War - Claimed by Jeff Mullins off s good second; Mullins figures to get off the goose egg tonight.
2 National - Claimed by Adam Kitchingman off a poor effort; if he can get him to rebound, he'll be right there.
Long Shot - 7 Honour Family
Race 4 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $56,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
9 Top Kisser - Debut sprinting in a very fast paced race; suspect will be lone early speed trying to wire the field.
6 St. Malo's Gate - Kin to Nashoba's Key still has a way to go to match that one; still has promise after only 2 starts.
Long Shot - 2 Krazypapaya
Race 5 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds
7 Circular Logic - FTS from Mike Mitchell in potentially a wide open affair; your edge is seeing the tote board action.
4 Zia Zia Zia - The lone starter with experience; she ran well in debut, a bit green, but showed some ability.
Long Shot - 1 Swimmin Insunshine
Race 6 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $30,000, Claiming $32,000, 4-year-olds and up
2 Seattle Ruler - Exits a key race where he had the lead to mid-stretch; has what it takes to make another run at these.
6 Slammer Time - Tepid chalk in what is the hardest race on the card; dead late closer will try to carve out a trip.
Long Shot - 11 Quindici Man
Race 7 - 1 1/16th miles, $150,000 La Canada, Fillies, 4-year-olds
2 Lady of Fifty - The maestro, Jerry Hollendorfer, is on a hot streak this meet; she exits a sharp win in the Bayakoa.
3 Book Review - Closed stoutly to just get up in the La Brea; she stretches back out in distance, but has the class to last.
Long Shot - Open Water
Race 8 - 1 1/8th miles (turf, rail at 8 feet), Purse $40,000, Starter handicap $25,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
3 Include the Cat -
4 Going for a Spin - Claimed by Julio Canani and won first out with her; when he gets them good, they stay good.
Long Shot - 7 Van Brit
Race 9 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $21,000, Claiming $12,500, 4-year-olds
6 Smoken Legacy - Drops down to the lowest class of his life; last leg of the pick 6 is a wide open affair.
7 Kenichi - Example of an in and outer; has won two races sandwiched between two bad races.
Long Shot - 10 Deal'Em
Best Bet - 5 Great Mills (race 2)
