4 Somethings Unusual - Has positive experience going 2-turns on grass; will rate kindly and advance when asked.
3 Empty Headed - Claimed by Jeff Mullins and well spotted to win; looked like a different animal last out at Belmont Park.
Long Shot - 6 Ezio
Race 2 - 1 mile, Purse $45,000, Claiming $50,000, 4-year-olds and up
5 Got Even - If you can draw a line thru last, his resume doesn’t look so bad; speed to lead and does like the Santa Anita dirt.
2 Apollo Ten - Stretches out in distance after a series of sprints; has the ability to rate or could be placed closer to the pace.
Long Shot - 4 I Don’t Care Who
Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
4 Comin’offthebench - Broke her maiden as a first time starter at age 5; at least we know she likes the new track surface.
1 Kohala - Tepid chalk ran big in maiden claiming win at Los Alamitos; figures to show high cheese from the rail.
Long Shot -8 Yana
Race 4 - 6 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies, 3-year-olds
2 Thermodynamics - Great name for a racehorse; was no secret in debut but had to settle for second best.
4 Slew’s Charm - Always keep an eye on who Rafael Bejarano is riding; tactical speed to sit a decent trip throughout.
Long Shot - 1 It Girl
Race 5 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds
1 Madam Aamoura - Returns to grass where she has run OK before; draws the rail to save ground and sit a cozy trip.
5 Conquest Artura - Gets class relief from the grade 2 Jimmy Durante for this MSW; sire Artie Schiller is an outstanding turf stallion.
Long Shot - 6 Scandal
Race 6 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming 412,500, 4-year-olds and up
6 Gutsy Ruler - Runs best on the lead so expect Tyler Baze to be on the engine; other speed figures to be #1 Takem by Surprise.
3 Molten Image - Been away a year, but beat a lot better than these; if Art Sherman has him ready, this guy has the ability to win it.
Long Shot - 4 Italian Mirage
Race 7 - 1 1/16th miles, $75,000 Paseana, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
4 Tiz Midnight - Won the grade 2 Bayakoa at Los Alamitos, now tries a smaller stakes; Bob Baffert barn may heat up with Hoppertunity win.
8 Taste Like Candy - Draw a line thru the Zia Park debacle and her resume looks fine; Jerry Hollendorfer would love to beat Bob Baffert.
Long Shot - 6 My Sweet Addiction
Race 8 - 1 mile (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $60,000, Optional claiming $62,500, 4-year-olds and up
11 Joes Blazing Aaron - Must draw in off the also eligible list; faced good competition back east at Belmont, Churchill and Gulfstream.
2 Helm - Good to see Graham Motion with some horses in SoCal; when Rafael Bejarano takes the call, there must be some substance too.
Long Shot - 6 Sofast

2 Whiskey Wild - Big rider switch to Tyler Baze for the money shot; sliding down the maiden claiming ladder to this bottom rung.
