6 Real Bright Boots - Melody Conlon drops her lower than the price she claimed two races ago; need not be much in here.

Long Shot - 7 Nueva Fortuna

Race 2 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $19,000, Maiden claiming $20,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

9 Gisele At Fonz’s - Big class dropper from the Peter Miller barn; if he’s going to lose her, she might as well win.

11 Puttybadshark - Ran a career best off a one year hiatus; if she improves one step she’ll be awful tough.

Long Shot - 2 Mayie

Race 3 - 6 furlongs, Purse $30,000, Starter allowance $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

2 My Monet - Claimed by George Papaprodromou off a sharp maiden win; barn fresh off Charles Town Classic victory.

5 Fanny Brice - Claimed by the clever barn of Robertino Diodoro; expect improvement first time out for Diodoro.

Long Shot - 8 More Stormyweather

Race 4 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), $75,000 Desert Code, 3-year-olds

5 Royal Banker - Like the cut back in distance for a hillside turf course try; will sit in arrears for one brush.

1 Schoolofhardrocks - Huge class drop from the grade 1 Santa Anita Derby to this; tries grass for the first time.

Long Shot - 7 Karma King

Race 5 - 1 mile, Purse $30,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

7 Brave Act - Returns to dirt after a so-so turf try in last; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip for Tyler Baze.

9 Maverick Gun - Crushed bottom level maiden claimers in last; has a tough parking lot post, but is in top form.

Long Shot - 8 Wonderful Union

Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

8 Swiss Perfection - Interesting that Rafael Bejarano opted for a FTS; Tyler Baze is a good sub, takes blinkers off.

10 Afleet Echo - Rafael Bejarano was only happy to ride this FTS for Mark Glatt; watch the tote board for more clues.

Long Shot - 4 Runningwiththelute

10 Grumpy Small Mouth - Huge rider switch to Joe Talamo for the money shot; NoCal invader is a very consistent sort.

10 Chicsdigtheshark - Has won 4-of-8 over the Santa Anita main dirt track; does his best racing on the front end.

Long Shot - 11 Master Chef

Race 9 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

1 Hawkedon - Phil D’Amato era began with the retirement of Mike Mitchell; the barn remains in very capable hands.

2 Trelawny - Claimed in back to back races shows some popularity; this is the right class for his best turf efforts.

Long Shot - 8 Prospector’s Trick

Race 10 - 1 1/16th miles, $100,000 Precisionist, 3-year-olds and up

7 Fury Kapcori - Has proven his mettle over Santa Anita dirt with 3-of-4 wins in Arcadia; speed to lead or follow close.

3 American Blend - Should keep a square price with Aaron Gryder up; he’s more than capable, but seldom gets bet.

Long Shot - 5 Majestic City

Race 11 - 1 mile (turf), Purse $31,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

6 Another Sky - Ran for $50K price two races ago; she tries dirt for the first time, capable of big improvement.

7 Scene Queen - When Rafael Bejarano sticks for the finale, he’s bears watching; must include in vertical wagers.
