■ Facts: Houston shut out Tennessee and rookie first-time starting QB Rusty Smith in Week 12, 20-0. That snapped a streak of 11 straight games yielding 24-plus points for the Texans. Now they'll face the league's No. 1 passer, Michael Vick. Philadelphia will tackle the NFL's leading rusher, Arian Foster (1,147 yards, 5.1 a carry). In Philly's four previous games against top-10 runners, it has held them to a norm of 3.1 yards on 73 carries. Houston has scored seven TDs in its past 11 visits into the red zone. Conversely, the Eagles have scored one TD on their past nine red-zone trips. Vick had four fumbles in Week 12 in Chicago, the most by anyone in a game in more than a year. Eagles coach Andy Reid and Texans coach Gary Kubiak are 1-0 (1-0 against the spread) on three-days' preparation. The league's interception leader, Philadelphia CB Asante Samuel with seven, is questionable (knee).
■ Analysis: Whereas the Eagles have harnessed top-level runners to no more than 88 yards in a game, Houston, with the league's 31st-rated defensive passer rating, has been awful going against top-10 QBs, with Philip Rivers, Matt Cassel and Tony Romo teaming for nine TDs, one INT and a 72.3 completion percentage.
