A rundown of the major contests offered by Las Vegas sports books:
ALIANTE
■ Contest: Airin’ It Out Football Contest
■ Entry Fee: $25; limit three with fourth free
■ Details: Select NFL games with no point spreads; guaranteed prize pool of $103,850 for the season, including $3,300 in weekly prizes.
BOYD GAMING/COAST CASINOS
■ Contest: Pick the Pros
■ Entry Fee: Free; club members earn multiple entries each week
■ Details: Sign-ups begin Tuesday. Rules will be similar to last year: Select NFL games with no point spreads; $25,000 in weekly prizes, several season-long prizes; $525,000 guaranteed.
■ Properties: California, Fremont, Gold Coast, Main Street Station, Sam’s Town, Suncoast, The Orleans.
GOLDEN NUGGET
■ Contest: Friday Football Showdown
■ Entry Fee: $1,500
■ Details: Sixteen contestants are invited to compete in a 15-week bracket contest, presented by the Review-Journal. A video version of each matchup will appear at reviewjournal.com, and a radio version will air at 2 p.m. Fridays on ESPN Radio (1100 AM, 98.9 FM). Contestants make seven plays, college and NFL sides and totals. The winner takes 80 percent of a $25,000 prize pool.
LVH
■ Contest: LVH SuperContest
■ Entry Fee: $1,500, limit two per person
■ Details: Select five NFL games against the spread each week; winner earns 40 percent of all entry fees; top 30 finishers paid from an estimated prize pool of more than $1 million.
PALMS
■ Contest: Pigskin Payoff
■ Entry Fee: $25; limit three with three free
■ Details: Select 20 NFL games with no point spreads and propositions each week; weekly and season prizes, $300,000 guaranteed with $10,000 to the overall winner and top 100 finishers paid. The contest is run by the casino and is not associated with the sports book operated by Cantor Gaming.
STATION CASINOS
■ Contest: Great Giveaway Football Contest
■ Entry Fee: $25; limit two with third free
■ Details: Select NFL games with no point spreads; several weekly and season prizes awarded totaling $2 million.
■ Contest: Last Man Standing (Pro)
Entry Fee: $25; limit four with fifth free
■ Details: Select one NFL game against the spread each week, one loss means elimination; winner takes prize pool with $75,000 minimum guaranteed.
■ Contest: Last Man Standing (college)
■ Entry Fee: $25; limit four with fifth free
■ Details: Select one college game against the spread each week, one loss means elimination; winner takes prize pool with $25,000 minimum guaranteed. Also, there is a $100,000 bonus if a contestant wins both the college and pro Last Man Standing contests.

WILLIAM HILL

■ Entry Fee: $25; limit 25 per person
■ Details: Select NFL games with no point spreads; more than $250,000 guaranteed prize pool; $13,000 in cash prizes awarded each week for 17 weeks; $25,000 grand prize for season.
■ Contest: College Pick’em
■ Entry Fee: $100; limit 10 per person
■ Details: Select seven college games against point spreads each week; $100,000 guaranteed prize pool; $8,000 in cash prizes awarded each week for 10 weeks; $10,000 grand prize for season.
■ Contest: Three ‘N Out
■ Entry Fee: $25; limit five per person
■ Details: Pick one game against the spread each week; winning picks advance, and after three picks lose, you’re out. Contest lasts 17 weeks; $50,000 guaranteed prize money.
