Westgate college power ratings reflect Clemson’s decline

Clemson’s stunning decline this season has been reflected in the Westgate SuperBook’s college football power ratings.

After a Week 1 loss to Georgia, Clemson was still fifth in the Westgate’s ratings at 99.5. Now, after a series of close wins against average competition and a loss to North Carolina State, Clemson is down to 20th at 86.5.

That move includes a four-point drop just from last week after Clemson survived 17-14 against Syracuse.

Meanwhile, the top of the rankings grows stronger. The top five remain the same, but all gained points after last week.

Here are the Westgate’s power ratings of all 130 Football Bowl Subdivision teams, from No. 1 Georgia to No. 130 Louisiana-Monroe:

College football picks: Georgia’s defense will stifle Alabama

It’s shocking that Alabama reached the SEC title game with a bad offensive line and weak pass coverage. Georgia’s top-ranked defense will dominate the line of scrimmage.
