Mayweather to hold ‘Back To School Giveaway’ event

The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation and Mayweather Promotions will hold a “Back To School Giveaway” charity event from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Mayweather Boxing Club, 4020 Schiff Drive.

All students and families in Clark County are invited to the free event and will receive school supply giveaways and a chance to meet boxers Ishe Smith, Mickey Bey, J’Leon Love, Badou Jack, Chris Pearson and Ronald Gavril. There also will be licensed barbers providing free haircuts to students, and there will be food and entertainment.
