Fire alarm at Patriots’ Super Bowl hotel goes off overnight…again

PHOENIX — The New England Patriots got a rude awakening days ahead of their Super Bowl clash with the Seattle Seahawks as a false fire alarm went off during the early morning hours on Thursday at the team’s hotel.

The alarm was triggered by a smoke head that was isolated to one wing of the resort and caused a two-minute disturbance, a spokeswoman for the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass told Reuters.

“There were no injuries, no evacuations and no major impact to our guests during the alarm,” the spokeswoman said.

The hotel said it is looking into what caused the false alarm, which was reportedly the second one in the last three nights at the team’s hotel.

The Patriots play the Seahawks in the National Football League’s championship game on Sunday in Glendale, Arizona.
