Eagles QB Sam Bradford to reportedly miss 2 weeks

Mark Sanchez apparently will be the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback for their next two games.

Eagles starter Sam Bradford, who suffered a separated shoulder and a concussion in Sunday's loss to Miami, is expected to miss this Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday.

Sanchez would be the Eagles starter if Brandford can't play.

Sanchez replaced Bradford on Sunday, and Sanchez threw a critical interception after the Eagles had advanced to the Dolphins' 9-yard line late in the game with the Dolphins leading by a point.

Thanksgiving Day games are not a good memory for Sanchez, who had his infamous butt-fumble on Thanksgiving Day in 2012 while with the New York Jets.

Sanchez started eight games for the Eagles last season.
