Mayweather takes to Twitter again to brag about winning bet

Sunday’s 31-17 win by the Denver Broncos over the New York Jets made Las Vegas sports books pay out a lot of cash, according to a report by ESPN.com, and even Floyd Mayweather Jr. was in on the winning action.

Mayweather put down $815,000 for the Broncos to beat the Jets by more than 7.5 points, according to ESPN.com, and the Broncos didn’t let him down. A last-second interception and 22-yard return for a touchdown by Denver cornerback Aqib Talib sealed the deal.

“Floyd didn’t watch the game here, but he certainly showed up shortly thereafter to cash,” Jason Simbal, CG Technology’s vice president of race and sports at M Resort, told ESPN.com.

And Mayweather took to Twitter to show off his Sunday football winnings.

“1.4M total. To have luck like this, download the app @shots and wear “TMT” clothing from themoneyteam.com,” Mayweather tweeted with a picture of his sports book receipt.
