Kellen Moore completed 28 of 38 passes for 319 yards and two touchdowns as 10th-ranked Boise State beat No. 20 Utah 26-3 to win the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas at Sam Boyd Stadium tonight. The Broncos, who totaled 523 yards of offense, finished its season 12-1. Utah, which had won nine straight bowl games, ended its year at 10-3.
The time for rest will come later this week when Kellen Moore can make his way back to his Prosser, Wash., home.

Boise State and UNR received their desired bowl invitations, and the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas and Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl received the buzz they hoped for with their selections.
The MAACO Bowl Las Vegas is finding it can thrive without Brigham Young. Having Boise State in the game, of course, doesn’t hurt. The Dec. 22 matchup between the 10th-ranked Broncos and No. 20 Utah has created brisk ticket sales.
Tenth-ranked Boise State (11-1) on Sunday accepted an invitation to play No. 20 Utah (10-2) in Las Vegas’ annual bowl game Dec. 22 at Sam Boyd Stadium. The Utes had accepted their invitation Wednesday.
