Houston Texans center Ben Jones drinks own urine to win bet

Moises Alou and Jorge Posada each admitted to urinating on their hands to improve their batting grips, but the ex-big leaguers have got nothing on Ben Jones.

The Houston Texans center actually drank his own urine to win a bet with teammates.

"They kind of caught me off guard," Jones told CBS Sports Radio 650 in Houston. "It was a drug test day, and I walked out and (cornerback Kareem Jackson) said, 'That looks like apple juice.' And I was like, 'How much you pay me to drink this?' And they threw out a number and I just knocked it on back."

Jones, who reportedly does plenty of crazy stunts for money, claimed he sampled his own body chemistry to help foster team chemistry.

"We were having a good time, and whatever makes the team better," said Jones, who started all 16 games for the Texans last season. "I was just enjoying it — and anytime I can get a laugh out of it, I'll do it."

Whatever makes the team better? Jones has given a whole new meaning to "Drinking the Kool-Aid."
