Adam Antolin discusses controversial stoppage on TUF 24 — VIDEO

Tachi Palace flyweight champion Adam Antolin came in to The Ultimate Fighter 24 ranked at No. 13 in the tournament. Legacy Fighting Championship champ Damacio Page was ranked at four. Antolin pulled off the biggest upset in the flyweight tournament yet when he stopped Page with strikes in the second round of their fight.

However, controversy immediately followed his victory. Many watching the fight, including UFC president Dana White, criticized referee Chris Tognoni for jumping in to stop the fight too early.

With the victory Antolin advances to the quarterfinals where he’ll face Shooto champion Hiromasa Ogikubo next.
