LOS ANGELES – A pair of former light heavyweight champions emerged victorious from the Ultimate Fighting Championship event on Fox on Saturday night at Staples Center and will now wait to see which one gets another chance at the title. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Lyoto Machida earned knockout victories in the main and co-main events.
It has been two years, five months and 30 days since one-time Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight title contender Mike Swick last competed in the organization when he finally steps into the cage on the UFC on Fox 4 card at Staples Center on Saturday night.
