Rams won’t be penalized for handling of Keenum’s concussion

The St. Louis Rams will not be penalized by the NFL for mishandling concussion protocols with quarterback Case Keenum during the team's 16-13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 22, according to ESPN.

Nick Foles was expected to start against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with Keenum still going through the league's concussion protocol.

The NFL announced it would investigate the series of events that transpired against the Ravens in which Keenum stayed in the game for the final two offensive plays after taking a blow to the head and appearing unsteady. Foles warmed up on the sideline, but Keenum remained in the game.
